AILET Exam information:

About Exam :

(AILET) ALL INDIA LAW ENTRANCE TEST is conducted by National Law University, New Delhi once in a year.  It is an only NLU, who conduct its own exam.

Total no. of seats offered by NLU, Delhi are 83 but the number of candidates who appear for this exam is around 18,000 - 20,000 whereas if we compare the number of seats with CLAT then the competition level of AILET is quite high since the number of aspirants appear for CLAT is around 50,000 for a total of 2,670 seats. So one can make out the difference here.

It comes under the ranking of top 5 NLU’s. To crack AILET  it is not at as easy as cutting a piece of cake it takes a lot of effort to get in NLU, NEW DELHI.

NLU, NEW DELHI does not accept any other entrance exam score except AILET.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

The eligibility criteria to get into NLU, Delhi is mentioned below:

Educational: The candidate must be having a 10+2 from any recognized university or equivalent and candidate appearing in 10+2 can also appear for the exam but needs to show the final result at the time of admission.

A minimum of 50% is required for the candidates from General category

Age: There is no age bar to appear for the NLU, Delhi as per the supreme court’s stay on age bar, 2017.

Mode of Exam: offline (Pen and Paper).

Marking System: + 1 marks for the correct answer, - 0.25 is the penalty for wrong answers.
