About Exam:
JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is conducted by National Council Hotel Management Catering Technology (NCHMCT) once in a year to get admission in IHM Colleges in India. It is a national level exam. Aspirants, who want to shape their career in hospitality they have to appear for JEE. it is backed by the ministry of tourism, Indian government though it is an autonomous body, After completion of 3years, one get a degree as B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration.
There are 21 Central government, 14 private and 19 state government institutes of hotel management who accept the score of JEE.
Eligibility Criteria :
Qualification: One should have passed 12th or its equivalent from any recognized university. It is mandatory to have English as one of the subjects in their 10+2 also candidates should pass in it. 12th appearing students can also apply for this exam (JEE).
Age : Upper age limit is 22years (GENERAL & OBC Category), 25YEARS (SC & ST category)
Exam Mode: Online (Computer Based)
Marking System : (+4 marks) for the correct answer, (- 1 mark) for the incorrect answer except for service sector section.
Marking System for service sector : (+4 marks) for a correct answer, (+ 3 marks) for the second correct answer, (+ 2 marks) for the third correct answer and (- 1 mark) for the least appropriate or wrong answer.
